Never to miss an opportunity to exploit a tragedy, even after being proven wrong, the mainstream media has now switched tactics and are attempting to make this case about the militarization of the police. While we agree the militarization of local police forces is a huge problem, in this case, the bigger problem seems to be the government’s and the mainstreams media’s ability to manipulate the news and the public.

This week President Obama announced he was launching a probe into the militarization of the nation’s police forces, all the while complexly ignoring the fact that it was his administration who started sending these agencies military gear to begin with.

World News Daily reports:

Many news media services already had begun packing tents and television transmission vehicles as word circulated through the Ferguson community of further evidence that the black teen shot and killed by a police officer was the aggressor, resisting arrest after his suspected role in a convenience store robbery.

Mainstream Media Helped Provoke the Ferguson Riots

Protests, rioting and looting followed the shooting, largely spurred on by the mainstream media who actually integrated itself into the crowd and helped provoke the violence. For over a week, reporters from CNN and MSNBC actually provoked the crowd, and at some points were themselves attacked by angry criminals.

CNN’s Jake Tapper took to the air and tried to rile up the crowd, claiming that cops were targeting innocent civilians. What he didn’t tell the viewer was a number of people were shot only minutes before he went on the air, causing the police to have to crack down on armed criminal thugs who were the ones actually armed with “weapons.”
